Rockin’ Blues Powerhouse Deborah Magone
Live at The Casbah
"Deborah can tear it up like Janis Joplin and Ann Wilson (Heart), turn around and give you chills with some gospel or just a soft ballad." - Joey Tuchrello, Freetime Magazine, Arts & Entertainment guide.
Deborah Magone (pronounced Ma Go Nay), the fiery vocal powerhouse from Rochester, NY is coming to Hamilton on May 25. Every fan of ass-kicking blues rock within fifty miles of Hamilton should be falling over themselves to be at this show. Here's why: Magone's music is a reflection of her powerful social conscience and in-your-face response to the injustice and challenges of our day. Magone's powerhouse band, her soaring, gutsy vocals, stellar guitar work and socially relevant material will shine in all their glory in the soulful lounge environment at The Casbah.

Magone's thirty-plus year career reached a new pinnacle of success when she won the Producer's Choice Best Female Blues/Rock Musician category at the prestigious 2012 LA Music Awards. Her Alternate Realities album with the single It’s All About Money and accompanying video brought a career’s worth of emotional conviction to the forefront. Magone's heartfelt vocals and her skillful guitar work have moved audiences everywhere.
Magone moves, sings and plays as one performing at the peak of her game. Ever the social activist, she brings depth and honesty to the stage.
Opening acts Sean Le Sage and the VoodooMatix, and Ginger St. James will join Magone to complete this international musical feast. Don’t miss what is sure be one of the year's best shows and experience one good thing to come from the Canada-USA Free Trade Agreement: kick-ass music from both sides.
