The Mohawk College Community Choir, under the direction of artistic director David Holler, in collaboration with Fanshawe Chorus London and the Redeemer University Sinfonia present Karl Jenkins’ Stabat Mater, Johannes Brahms’ Nänie, and Gerald Finzi’s Eclogue.

The central piece of the concert, Karl Jenkins’ dramatic and powerful Stabat Mater, is the story of Christ’s death through the eyes of his beloved mother Mary.
“This solemn yet passionate music is the perfect way to start Holy Week. Inspiring choral masterpieces for all music lovers” explains artistic director, David Holler.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling (905) 526-7938. Tickets prices are $25 regular admission and $20 for students/seniors.
The Mohawk College Community Choir is a 65 member semi-professional college/community choral society with singers from all walks of life who have their vocal talent and love of choral music in common. The choir performs a large variety of repertoire - from chamber music to the greatest large scale works in the choral repertoire, with and without orchestra.
