J. W. Palmer - Variations on a Winter Theme Canadian Composer

L.M. Thomas - “Evening Snow” Canadian Composer and DVO Music Director

S. Prokofiev -“Troika” from Lt. Kije Suite

A.Vivaldi - “Winter” from the Four Seasons with guest violinist Julia Baumgarten

P. I. Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 1 in G minor known as “Winter Dreams”

Our Music Director is Laura Thomas M.F.A., B.Mus.

Julie Baumgartel
Julie Baumgartel, our guest violin soloist has performed with Tafelmusik, the Kitchener Waterloo Symphony and as concert master of the Nota Bene Baroque Players. She regularly plays with the Gallery Players of Niagara, the Festival of the Sound in Parry Sound and the Factory Arts Quartet in Stratford. She has played internationally across Europe, North America and Asia .She teaches at the Wilfrid Laurier University String Academy. Julia performs on a Paulo Antonio Testore violin made in Italy in 1740.

Admission is free. The DVO gratefully accepts donations and tax receipts are provided for donations of $10.00 or more.

Handicapped parking is available.
