"Albert Lee is the best guitarist alive today," says Eric Clapton. Known for his use of the Fender Telecaster, signature Ernie Ball guitar and lightning speed playing, Albert has not only worked in the studio and on tour with some of the biggest names in world music, but he has also maintained a successful solo career of his own. Albert has played and/or toured with the Everly Brothers, Joe Cocker, Emmylou Harris, Eric Clapton, Rosanne Cash, Vince Gill and Bill Wyman and many others.

Reg Denis and Patti Warden, local recording artists known as Crackers, attended a packed house and paid $100 for front row seats to see the intimate, one-time show. They were in attendance with a party consisting of several other members of the Hamilton Musicians Guild, where Denis serves as a board member.

But here's the good part. Reg and Patti got the surprize of their lives when they WON the draw for an Albert Lee autographed Eastwood guitar worth over $1000. Many guitar reps and media were on hand to document and present the prize to the couple.

Albert Lee was found to be a humble, friendly and truly personable gentleman to complement his skills as a guitarist, fine vocalist, and keyboard player. He signed the winning guitar as well as many posters, CDs, albums, books and guitars that folks brought in to be immortalized with Mr. Lee's signature.

Denis, Warden and many other fans were happy to have an opportunity to be photographed with Mr. Lee.

A truly magical evening.
