Based on my singular observations, Burlington has four things already figured out as far as cultural planning goes.
1. They managed to build a new Performing Arts Centre downtown.
2. They have for many many years supported a music program for youth, and its showpiece "culminating task" the Burlington Teen Tour Band.
3. They built a music centre to house it all, and then they upgraded it.
4. They have a Sound of Music Festival.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Hamilton can learn from Burlington's history of supporting music!
