Canadians are about to fall in love with this amazing collection of songs, not only because they're excellent songs performed with feeling and skill, but also because they are presented as an exciting and interesting collection of musical arrangements.

Duane Rutter's baritone voice and acoustic guitar is soothing and sincere, perfectly stating each song and reassuring the listener with unpretentious storytelling.
Add the powerful blending and interaction of Andrew Aldridge's electric guitar and Steve Wood's pedal steel and you get a larger, more exciting listening experience. Wood's steel guitar is superb throughout the album and has much to do with its overall strength. He hears notes so sweetly! The steel guitar ranges from doleful to electrifying and works very well supporting and contrasting Rutter's clear, plaintive and deeply felt baritone voice. Mark Lamala adds in some sweet keys on "Will I Ever Learn."
J.B. Reed's strong backing vocals are heard on "Crazy Things, Who Found Who, The Cat, and I Ain't No Good" and Lisa Winn's guest vocals on "Will I Ever Learn" are a very apt addition. Legendary Garth Hudson's (The Band) keyboards enlarge the listening experience even more on "Who Found Who" and "Take That Water" with "Sister" Maud Hudson adding backup vocals on "Take That Water." Underpinning it all are rock solid performances from Carrie Ashworth on bass, and Nick Burson on drums. Burson's solid brush-oriented drumming has an delightfully adventuresome edge to it.
