Hamilton Irish Arts - Every Tuesday at the Corktown

A recent email from a reader:

I heard about your website and blog from one of our musicians, Mark Fletcher (of Steel City Rovers). I am the secretary of a Non-Profit global Organization that promotes the traditions of Ireland through music, language and dance. Our branch here in Hamilton is a lively, active and growing group with events and workshops, music and dance lessons, and a weekly Session, we hold at the Corktown Pub every Tuesday night. I invite you to come down some Tuesday and check us out! It starts around 8:30 and goes to midnight. No cover charge. Sometimes we get over 20 musicians jamming the Irish tunes. Some is song but most is instrumental, jigs, reels and the rest. You'll find fiddle, guitar, banjo, tin whistle, bodhran, concertina, accordion and more! Let me know what you think and if we qualify for your website?
Thanks,
Ann Gorman-McKinney
