The Acoustic Blend Cafe is a monthly coffee house featuring local musicians in a casual, cozy, living room like setting. The atmosphere is intimate which allows interaction between the performers and the audience. Those of us who attended last year found these concerts very enjoyable and another hidden Hamilton gem. The Acoustic Blend Cafe, affectionately known as ABC, helps to promote local performers and businesses. It also provides a welcoming gathering place for people to enjoy great music, delicious food and drink, and lots of camaraderie. Each event has a feature performer. After the feature there is an open mic for any one who wants an opportunity to perform. It can be anything you wish - comedy, story telling, singing, instrumental or whatever.

Come on out and show us your stuff. Whether its brand new or you've been performing it for years we'd love to hear it. Its a great way to work out your jitters or practice strutting your stuff in front of a very friendly and welcoming crowd. After all its about helping to promote performers and those that are up and coming. The season for ABC runs from September to May. Doors open at 7:30 pm, show starts at 8:00 pm. The entrance way is from the parking lot on Stanley Avenue. Cost is $10 plus a $3 donation for delicious homemade goodies, coffee and drinks!

So don't be shy.  Come out to hear the fabulous local talent, have some locally roasted coffee from Red Hill Coffee Trade, or, as a new addition this season, have a casual glass of wine or beer. Due to inquiries and requests we will be doing a trial run of serving wine and beer for Sept., Oct., and Nov. with hopes of continuing through the season.

Another new feature we have this year is opening ABC to music teachers and their students for a friendly welcoming place to hold recitals with a feel of a coffeehouse concert. These recitals will take place the Friday evening before ABC or the afternoon of ABC. Any music teachers who would like this opportunity should send an email to acousticblendcafe@gmail.com.
